The Timberjig is a patented hand-held sawmill of top quality. A versatile friend in your lumber project!
Components: 1 Big Mill Timberjig
Log Diameter: Max. 60 cm
The Logosol Timberjig turns your saw into a portable sawmill! This lightweight, unique mill is made to be cost-effective, easy, and fun to use.
Have you ever dreamed of being able to cut your own lumber, but not have the land or resources to do it? This little mill can have you cutting lumber quickly and simply. Like all Logosol products, this device features simplistic, rugged, and quality design.
First advantage is that it attaches to the same two bolts that hold the chain bar to the saw. No need to drill holes for the mill in the bar!
Second advantage is that in the box with the Timberjig, there are squares and nails to build a straight wooden guide rail. This rail is only used for the first two cuts, to provide a flat surface.
From then on, the Timberjig rests on the adjustable guide fence that sets the thickness of the board.
For smaller logs, we recommend that you position the log in waist height to have a good operating position.
As you work in horizontal position, there is no risk of sawing into the ground.
The Timberjig is a fully equipped hand-held sawmill with the option to upgrade!
A superior tool for working directly in the forest that offers the operator an abundance of upgrade possibilities.
We provide you with the major components and the sawmill plan needed to build your own home made sawmill. Before you begin sawing, you must build your own sawmill components in wood, namely the guide rail and the rail supports. Everything you will need to assemble the guide rail and rail supports is included in the Timberjig kit.
When we designed the Timberjig we decided to make it in aluminum and steel.
The steel parts are treated with nitrous oxide during production. Steel that has been treated this way acquires a black color, offers increased corrosion-resistance, and becomes more durable and resistant to wear and tear.
When compared to typical zinc plating, this process is more expensive, but we feel the resulting quality is both seen and felt.
The anodized aluminum, which possesses high durability and corrosion resistance, is used for the scale bail that fills the function of both handle and thickness scale.
You can upgrade the Timberjig with a WoodWorker's Mill guide rail.
It allows you to saw normal size logs as well as those with significantly increased diameter. It has been our experience that when you equip your chainsaw with a 90 cm guide bar, you will have the flexibility to easily deal with most of the logs that you will come across.
"We who have worked with small-scale sawing for over 15 years, believe that this system really hits the mark. More accessories will be developed for the Big Mill System."

Worth Knowing about Big Mill System
• Cut as short logs as possible, and you will get better precision and the
work will be easier. The aluminium guide rails can be fitted together and extended
when required. They are available in the length of 0.5 m, 1m, and 2.75m (1.6
ft, 3.3 ft, and 9 ft).
• When the guide rail is over 4 m (13 ft) long, a guide rail prop should be
fitted at the middle of the log; when it is over 7 m (22 ft) long, two guide
rail props should be used.
• If you want to upgrade your sawing, the Timberjig and guide rails of Big
Mill System are compatible with the Logosol Sawmill and Woodworker’s Mill.
• The packages are composed to give you what you need, but all components in
the system can also be ordered separately.
• More information about all the possibilities, components and accessories
of the system, are described in the manual.
• We can provide you with a chainsaw, guide bar, and chains that are suited
for sawing logs, but you can just as well use standard equipment if you already
have a chainsaw with two bar bolts.
• Sawing is great fun! The feeling when holding your first board is hard to
beat.
