ES8 Electric Saw

Logosol’s electric saw gives you efficient and quiet sawing.

Logosol’s ES5 and ES8 electric saws are designed for the F3 chain sawmill. They offer efficient and quiet operation, making them an excellent choice when electricity is available at the work site.
The electric saw starts instantly at the push of a button and is significantly more powerful and quieter than a gasoline saw, making work at the chain sawmill both more comfortable and more efficient.

The quick chain tensioning system features a special tool mounted directly on the saw, making bar and chain changes simple and efficient.

The bar bolts are easily accessible, the bar mount is designed for easy cleaning, and chain tensioning is quick and straightforward.

The saw is fully rust-proofed and adapted for demanding outdoor environments. The automatic oil pump provides even and safe lubrication throughout the sawing process.
Water cooling to increase the life of chains and bars is available as an option.

Large pulleys provide efficient power transmission, and the design contributes to low noise levels during sawing, which is particularly appreciated during longer work shifts.

Power and application
We recommend the ES5 when you are sawing a large number of normal logs, as well as the occasional oversized log. For very high production or extremely large logs, the ES8 is more suitable.

Available with automatic or manual feed, so you can choose the solution that best suits your workflow.

Cutting equipment
Traditional saw bars up to 70 cm (27.5 inches) fit, and Logosol offers three types of blades:

Standard
Bars made of three composite plates. Low weight and good strength.

Solid
Laser-cut solid bar with milled chain groove, stable attachment, and hardening. Without bar nose sprocket.

Premium
Developed together with Cannon Bars. Solid bar with thinner material, very hard hardening and precise tolerances. With bar nose sprocket – ideal for chain sawmills.

Bar top steering
Bar top steering is included as standard and gives you greater precision in wide saw cuts. The bar top steering bar is adjustable and fits saw blades from 50 to 70 cm. The bar is held in place by a strong magnet at the top. The bar top steering makes it easy to adjust the saw bar parallel to the log racks for a perfect sawing result.
