Several motor options
The design, with a lightweight saw carriage and a 4-meter guide rail, makes the sawmill extremely flexible and easy to use. The sled slides smoothly on the guide rail during operation and can be easily lifted on and off. The Stihl MS391 is a suitable chainsaw for F3 chainsaw mills. It has a 4.5 hp engine and weighs 6.4 kg. With the powerful 6 hp Stihl MS661, sawing is even faster.
For stationary production, you can choose one of Logosol’s high-efficiency electric saws with feed units, giving you extra capacity. You can also equip the sawmill with Logosol’s log moulder, which can be used with both the electric saws and the gasoline-powered chainsaws.
Handles all types of wood
The F3 chain sawmill can cut all types of wood, from hard oak to knotty pine. Measurement precision is impressive, and chain sawing produces a smooth surface that is easy to finish. The chain removes the sawdust while the wood is being sawn. The boards are clean of sawdust when you have finished sawing.
The F3 chain sawmill is the ideal sawmill if you want to saw your own timber. This sawmill is as easy to set up as it is to dismantle for storage. You get a flexible tool with all the features needed to do a good job. The sawmill can be configured with 2 meters between the log lifters for longer logs, or 1 meter for shorter pieces, such as fruit trees.
A maintenance-free lightweight sawmill
The F3 chain sawmill is made of strong anodized aluminium, a material with amazing properties. You get a maintenance-free, lightweight sawmill that never rusts and can handle logs weighing one ton. In the standard version, you can saw 3.7 meter long logs. The sheet metal parts are galvanized and painted to withstand outdoor conditions year-round.
If you want to cut longer logs, the sawmill can be extended to any length. Extensions are available in half-meter or one-meter sections, and multiple log lifters can be installed to allow larger and longer logs to be handled with precision. In addition to the length, the sawmill can be upgraded with a variety of accessories.
